Abstract
The Heishuigou Zn-polymetallic deposit in Guangxi is tectonically located in the southwest of Jiangnan oldland and the northeast of Youjiang basin, on the margin of the Yangtze craton. Seven main orebodies with 44 ore veins, which occur in the Devonian formations, are found in the orefield. The Dachang fault serves as the ore-guiding structure. The Heishuigou fault plays an important role in the control of metallogeny. The faulted bedding plane of Dachang anticline provides a proper space for later mineralization. The ore-bearing fluids replace the strata or fill in the space by decollement to form orebodies.
