Abstract
The results of gravimetric and magnetic survey are adopted to infer the geological structural location, properties and characteristics. The outline of the basin is delineated by gravity anomalies. By local changing characters, secondary domes and sags are divided. The secondary domes and their marginal fault belts are advantageous positions for geothermal resources. Based on the results of CSAMT profile, with the varieties of apparent resistivity in the vertical geoelectric section of fault belt, the authors infer the fracture properties, deep rock broken degree and water content. With 2-D seismic survey, the fracture properties are further determined to confirm the best water area and eventually position the geothermal well site. The inference is successfully verified by drilling, showing that the technical approach is correct. The application of integrated geophysical prospecting methods for buried geothermal resources is effective.
