Abstract
Based on the Landsat 8 and SPOT-6 remote sensing (RS) data, combined with the RS image features and 1:50 000 geographical base map of the study area, the visual interpretation is used to interpret the strata, linear structure and ring structure. The ratio-principal component analysis is adopted to extract the hydroxyl and iron-stained alteration information. Through comprehensive analysis of RS-interpreted fault structure, ring structure and altered mineralization information, the favorable ore-forming sites are delineated from the perspective of remote sensing for reference in field prospecting.
