PROCESSING TECHNIQUES OF 2D SEISMIC REFLECTION IMAGING IN VOLCANIC COVERED AREA: A Case Study of Western Periphery of Songliao Basin

    • To improve the imaging processing effect of seismic data in the volcanic covered area of the western periphery of Songliao Basin and accurately guide the oil-gas exploration of new strata in the new exploration area of northern China, this study sorts out the 2D original seismic data collected in recent years through high-density and high-coverage observation system and broadband and long-array receiving technology, identifies the main factors affecting the seismic imaging quality of the volcanic covered area in the western periphery of Songliao Basin and formulates corresponding countermeasures to the complex seismic geological conditions in the area. The results show that such seismic data have higher requirements for the accuracy of statics and dynamic correction. The key to improve the imaging quality of volcanic covered areas is to adopt techniques including the first break residual statics correction, appropriate denoising combination, robust deconvolution, and wide-angle reflection anisotropic processing, which may provide reference for high precision imaging processing of similar volcanic covered areas or bedrock exposed areas.
