    Identification and monitoring of geological hazards in Pishan County of Xinjiang based on SBAS-InSAR technology

    • As a new type of technology for surface deformation monitoring, InSAR has been successfully applied to the identification and monitoring of geological hazards due to its unique advantages. This study used Sentinel-1A data from January 2020 to November 2022 to identify and monitor geological hazards in Pishan County, Xinjiang, based on SBAS-InSAR technology. By integrating the surface deformation characteristics of the study area with high-resolution optical images, a total of 14 geological hazard points with deformation were identified. Time-series analysis was performed on typical points, followed by field validation, achieving a 100% accuracy rate. The results demonstrated that SBAS-InSAR technology is effective for large-scale identification and monitoring of geological hazards and can significantly contribute to their prevention and control.
