GEOTHERMAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LIBIXIA ANTICLINE IN CHONGQING CITY

    • With experiential summary and literature research, through systematic study on the exploration data of hot springs and geothermal wells in Libixia geothermal reservoir structure, it is found that the Libixia anticline has the characteristics of typical layered thermal reservoir structure. The geothermal water is dominated by calcium sulfate type, with the presently lowest water temperature drilled in Huaying Mountain anticlinorium. The currently known geothermal wells and hot springs are generally lower than 37℃ in water temperature, with obvious attenuation in water amount. It is suggested that the low geothermal water temperature be related to the structure.
