CHARACTERISTICS AND ORE-CONTROLLING FACTORS OF THE SANDSTONE TYPE OF URANIUM MINERALIZATION IN JIANPING COUNTY, LIAONING PROVINCE

With analysis on the distribution characteristics of the sandstone type of uranium deposits in Heishui area, Liaoning Province, on the basis of evaluation for the ore-controlling factors, such as uranium source, sand body, sedimentary environment, organic matter, geological structure and oxidation zone front, it is concluded that the uranium mineralization in this area is controlled mainly by fault, oxidation front and sub-sags.
