    GIS-BASED SPACLAL GRAPH DATABASE AND ITS APPLICATION IN GEOLOGICAL STUDY

    • Geographic information system(GIS) plays an important role in forming and developing spatial databases.The core of GIS is to establish an interactive relationship between the spatial graph database and the attribution database.In the project of creating the 1:200 000 Spatial Graph Database of Liaoning Province,the software platform-MAPGIS,developed by China University of Geosciences-is based on to sort system graph layers,input data and edit graphs.The GIS-based spatial graph database is a basis for geological research.It may provide multi sourced graph layers and spatial information for mineral resources forecasting,as well as for regional geological surveying,assessment of regional minerals and environment,administration of resources and the rights of mining.
