MATERIAL SOURCES AND GENESIS OF BANKUAN GOLD DEPOSIT IN HENAN PROVINCE

    • Bankuan gold deposit, located in the north part of the basement uplift of Xiaoshan terrain, is of multi-source of ore-forming material. The features of minor elements show that the ore-forming material was derived from migmatite. Study of isotopes proves the magmatic origin of ore-bearing fluid, which was then mixed with metamorphic fluid and meteoric water. REE data suggest that the ore-forming material should be from the lower crust or the mantle. It was resulted from the remelting of lower crustal material and the hybridization of upper crustal rocks. The deposit is genetically a magmatic mobilized gold deposit.
