ISOTOPIC GEOCHEMISTRY AND ORIGIN OF MAOTANG AND PUTANG GOLD DEPOSITS, HENAN

Based on the isotopic geochemistry of S,C,H,O and Si,and the geologic environment,the origin of Maotang and Putang gold deposits is discussed.It is proved that the sulfur is derived from deep magma,ore material mainly from syntectic magma,and some from metamorphosed basic volcanic basement.The water in the hydrothermal solution is resulted from meteoric water.The metals from granite porphyry,breccia and wall rocks are extracted by hydrothermal circulation.Ore is formed on the top of granite porphyry and in the explosive breccia.
