    GEOLOGY AND GENESIS OF SHEWUSHAN CARLIN TYDE OF GOLD DEPOSIT IN HUBEI PROVINCE

    • Shewushan gold deposit occured in overtured anticline and double thrust tectonic which were mainly composed of Cambrian-Ordovician Carbonatite, and belong to epithermal ore deposit (primary gold deposit).The Shallow orebody, that is primary gold deposit occured in gently dipping fault tectonite underwent near a hundred million years' weathering-Leaching transformation, and became strippable weathering gold deposit.Ore grade is low. Gold appeared in micro-fine grained impregnation state. Compared with Carlin type gold deposit, Shewushan goid deposit belong to Carlin type and can be divided into two subtypes:primary and weathering gold deposit.
